EFC Ghostbuster Squad

Here's a dream I had sometime last year...

I was leading a short-term missions team like music ministry in the summer - only it was kind of like an EFC Ghostbuster Squad, traveling around the world to different places haunted by ghosts. The team seemed to have been made up of people from different missions teams I've lead, but the only person I distinctly remember was Peter Hsieh.

I think we were in some southeast-asian country - like the Philippines or Singapore. I was driving the team in a passenger van to our next location - a haunted college dormitory of some kind. It reminded me of a prison - huge and made of concrete and really old and run-down looking. It was during break - so the only person living there was the RA who was also our guide.

The RA was a typical asian college dude - and I asked him to take us to our room so we could first unload our gear and get settled in. The interior was very dark - dimly lit by bluish-green florescent lights, some burnt out and others randomly flickering. There were papers and trash all over the floor of the hallways, and marker graffiti on the walls. He lead us to an old elevator, and we took a long ride up to the top floor.

As the elevator doors opened, I was the first to walk out - suddenly 3 cardboard boxes stacked against a wall were flung at me by some invisible force. Somehow, I was able to catch them - and I turned around and remarked to the team, "I guess we now know what to expect."

The RA then lead us down a very long and dark concrete staircase. I remember thinking how we should be careful here in case the ghost tried to push one of us down these stairs. We arrived at a dirty, rundown cafeteria/game room. There were assorted video games against the wall and an old karaoke machine in the corner. The RA began pulling out old mattresses for us to sleep on the floor. I remember thinking how tired I was and how much I wanted to just take a shower and go to sleep after such a long trip. But instead of falling asleep I woke up.

I really wanted to know what would happen next.
